Learning, social

Current Definition
Social learning relies on intersubjectivity and perspective-taking. Learning takes place because two or more people attend to or share the same object of interest; either one of the people (e.g., an adult) models something which the other (e.g., child or student) mimics and internalizes or both people share the same experience. Typically, each participant views the object from the perspective of the other and then internalizes this perspective.
